Mr. Jimmie Dicken, 58, of Route # 1 , Campbellsville, son of Frank Dicken and Mollie McFall Dicken of Campbellsville, was born in Clinton County Ky, September 27, 1913. He died suddenly at 8:45 a.m.Friday , April 21, at his home. He professed faith in Christ early in life and was a member of the Campbellsville Christian Church. He was a well- known painter here in Taylor County for some thirty-eight years. He united in marriage to Miss Edith Hendrickson , February 5, 1935 and to this union one son and three daughters were born: James E. Dicken, Doris Dicken Smith, and Linda Lou Dicken, all of Campbellsville. Pauline Dicken Brown of Franklin Indiana.; eleven grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters, Ray Dicken, and Emma Dicken Sexton, Paul Dicken, Mrs. Dehoney Harrison , all of Campbellsville, and Earl Dicken of Dayton, Ohio. Also survived by several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon, April 23, in the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home by Rev. John C. Hayes. Burial was in Brookside Cemetery.
