Doris Jean Smith of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Addison "Jimmie" Dicken and Carrie Edith Hendrickson Dicken, was born October 25, 1940 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 6:25 P.M., Wednesday, April 26, 2023 in Greensburg. She professed her faith in Christ and was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Doris Jean was a retired employee of Taylor County High School where she served in the lunchroom for many years. She was as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Doris Jean united in marriage to Glenn Smith October 26, 1963. Besides her husband, Glenn Smith of Campbellsville, she is survived by two sons: three grandchildren:; and one great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Doris Jean was also preceded in death by one brother and two sisters: James Dicken, Pauline Brown and Linda Barnhill.
