Found in The State 15 November 1960: William McWillie Shannon, 90, died at Camden Memorial Hospital at 2:35 p.m. Monday after an illness of ten days. Mr. Shannon was born in Camden, the son of the late Charles John and Mary Martin Kershaw Shannon. He had made his home in Camden for the past 27 years and retired about 12 years ago from the real estate business. He attended the Camden schools and Porter Military Academy.
