Camden - Charles John Shannon, 73, died suddenly Saturday morning at his home in Savannah, Ga.
He was born in Camden, the son of Mary Kershaw and Charles John Shannon Sr. He attended the Camden City schools and had worked in the US postal department.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Kate Brown Shannon of Savannah; one daughter, Mrs Kate Shannon Cathey of West Virginia; one son, William Duncan Shannon of Savannah; two sisters, Mrs. Jo S. Blackwell and Richard Yeadon Steedman both of Camden.
