Mary Francis Bergstrom-Franklin of Hillsboro died March 31, 1997 at the Tuality Hospital she was 55.
A traditional service was helf at Bronleewe-Bass Funeral Home Chapel in Hillsboro with the Rev. Carl Flach officiating.
Final commitment followed at Fir Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Bergstrom-Franklin was born May 27, 1941 at Blue Island, Illinois, the daughter of Edward and Mildred (Purnell) Leib. One of five children, she was raised and educated in Valparaiso, Indiana.
She was married to George Bergstrom Sr. from 1957 until his death in 1977.
She moved to Hillsboro in 1973 and worked for Rodgers Organ for eight years.
She married Victor Franklin August 3, 1984. They remained in Hillsboro where she was a Tri-Chem painting instructor.
Mrs. Bergstrom-Franklin's interests included fishing, camping, gardening and collecting items depicting hens.
She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Leib Sr.; her brother David Leib; and her first husband, George Bergstrom Sr.
Survivors include her husband Victor of Hillsboro; two songs, George Bergstrom Jr., of Buxton, and Tim Bergstrom of Aloha; a daughter Judi Spiering of Hillsboro; her mother Mildred Denton of Valparaiso, Indianna; a sister Judith Mausen of Valparaiso, Indianna, two brothers Edward and James Leib, both of Valparaiso, Indiana,; eight grand-children; and one great-grand child.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Bronleewe-Bass Funeral Home of Hillsboro.
