Judith Ann (Leib) Mausen, 74 of Valparaiso, passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2017. She was born March 8, 1943 in Blue Island, IL to Edward J. and Mildred (Purnell) Leib, Sr. Judy was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister, who gave of her time to care for others. She was a member of the Eagles Lodge 2517 of Valparaiso and the VFW Post 988 Auxiliary of Valparaiso.
Judy is survived by her children, Amber (Jim) Marrs, James Steel, and Brad (Christy) Mausen; grandchildren, Jennifer, Trenton, Blair, and Josie; great granddaughter, Dahlia; brothers, Edward Leib, Jr. and James (Ronda) Leib; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; Edward Leib, Sr. and Mildred Denton; sister, Mary; and brother, David.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:00-7:00 PM at Moeller Funeral Home 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso with a Funeral Service Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Angelcrest Cemetery, Valparaiso. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the VFW Post 988 Auxiliary.
