Zelma Lee Crenshaw, 82, formerly of Blossom, went to be with her Lord Tuesday, June 17, 2003.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 20, at Fellowship Baptist Church in Blossom with the Rev. Neil Higginbotham officiating.

Burial will follow in Knights of Honor Cemetery under the direction of Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 7-8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 19, at the funeral home.

She was born February 7, 1921, in Clarksville, a daughter of Matthew Nunn and Annie Lee Miller Nunn.

She married Grover Wilson Crenshaw on December 3, 1938, in Red River County.

They farmed in various West Texas towns, moving back to Blossom in 1974.

She worked in nursing in Muleshoe and Paris and spent several years as a special duty nurse in Loraine.

She was preceded in death by her father, Matthew Nunn, in 1941; a granddaughter, Gwendolyn Dawn Crenshaw, in 1961; her mother, Annie Lee Nunn, in 1975; her husband, Grover Crenshaw, in 1987; sisters, Mildred Martin and Maggie Butler; and a brother, Sherman Ross.

Survivors include sons, Bobby Lloyd (Saundra) Crenshaw of Gardendale, Billy Don (Phyllis) Crenshaw of Muleshoe, and David Glen (Lynn) Crenshaw of Sumner; daughter, Vicki Lynn (Joe) Gamez of Sweetwater; seven grandchildren, Terri Pope, Jeff Crenshaw, Donna Perry, Christopher Crenshaw, Rebekah Crenshaw, Brent Butler, and Brian Butler; 11 great-grandchildren, Karen, Kelli, Lindsay & Matthew Perry, Justin & Jarrod Crenshaw, Matthew, Marc & Luke Butler, Carissa Fulton, and Jonathan Smith; four sisters, Wanza Graham, Adell Smith, Vinnie Rushing, and Myrtle Melton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be B.J. Pope, Jeff Crenshaw, Christopher Crenshaw, Brent Butler, Brian Butler and Dale Crenshaw.
