Hope Scott
Hope Banks Scott, age 92 of Louisville, died Thursday, May 14, 2009, at Scott Villa Nursing and Rehab in Scottsburg, Indiana. She was a member of St. John United Methodist Church in Owensboro.
She is survived by five daughters: Frankie Hager and husband, Larry Jr., Owensboro; Bobbie Ann Windhorst and husband, Don, Louisville; Betsy Scott Powell, Frankfort; Barbara Rickey and husband, Larry, Lexington, Indiana; Carol Sue Frazier and husband, Michael, Carrollton; six sons: Richard "Dickie" Scott and wife, Honey, Valley Station; Charles H. Joe Scott and wife, Shirley, Louisville; Thomas N. Scott and wife, Marilyn, Sellersburg, Indiana; Terry D. Scott and wife, Mary, Milton; Brian Keith Scott, Louisville; and Kenneth Wayne Scott and wife, Dee, Lorton, Virginia; 32 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Scott, infant daughter, Wilma Gene; and four brothers: Robert, Jim, Herbert and Calvin Banks.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 17, 2009, at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home. Rev. Michael Duncan officiated. Interment was in New Castle Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Richard Scott, Joe Scott, Tom Scott, Terry Scott, Brian Scott and Ken Scott.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer society.

Pallbearers will be Richard Scott, Joe Scott, Tom Scott, Terry Scott, Brian Scott and Ken Scott. Visitation is after 9 a.m. Sunday at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home. Contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
