"From a letter received by Postmaster Higbee, we learn that George L. Stultz died of heart failure at his home in Sioux City, Iowa, on Wednesday, Oct. 5th, aged 50 years and 5 months. George L. Stultz was born in this city May 5th 1842, and was the first white child born in the township of Beaver Dam. He was a son of the late Henry Stultz, and resided here until about eight years ago, when he went west. He leaves three children, James E., Leah M., and Harry L., to mourn his death."
