Beaver Dam Argus 11 Mar 1880:

DIED. Stultz - In this city on the 3d inst., of child-bed fever, Mrs. Mary Jane, wife of George L. Stultz, aged 35 years, 1 month and 6 days. The deceased was born in Philadelphia, Jan 27, 1845, and removed with her parents to Chicago in 1862. December 20th 1865 she was married to Geo. L. Stultz and in 1868 they removed to this city where they have since resided. She was the mother of nine children, including two pair of twins, and leaves five little ones, the oldest 11 years of age, surviving her, four twins having passed before her to that land where this is no more parting; and may he who "tempers the wind to the shorn lamb" care for and protect the little ones so sadly bereft. Mrs. Stultz was a most estimable woman in all respects. Her home was all to her, and with the most untiring industry, patience, and self-denial did she labor, for the comfort of her family. No man ever had a truer, more devoted, more self-sacrificing wife, and no children had a more fond, affectionate, painstaking mother, and the bereavement of that family is a sad one indeed. A noble woman has gone to her reward. Mary Jane Stultz, after her few short years of struggle and toil for her family, has laid down the weary burden of life and is now at rest.

11 Mar 1880:
THANKS - I hereby tender my sincere and heartfelt thanks to each and all of my neighbors and friends for their sympathy and kind assistance, during the recent sickness and burial of my wife. May heaven bless them, and save them from such a stinging bereavement. Geo. L. Stultz.
