A Merry Christmas in the home of Mr. & Mrs. Clinton Crump was turned into one of sorrow, when on Friday night their little son Charles age three years old, became critically ill, and died Saturday afternoon about four o'clock, after all that medical skill and loving care could do in an effort to save the little life. It is supposed that Charles ate a torpedo and became poisoned. The little boy had some raisins and other eats in a little box and in some manner the fireworks became mixed with the raisins. Two brothers and two sisters besides his parents survive little Charles and a wide circle of relatives and friends extend sympathy and condolence to the bereaved loved ones at this sad hour.
