Clarence P. Crump, age 78 of Haynesville, La. passed away Saturday, November 13, 1999 at his Haynesville residence following a brief illness. After graduating from Haynesville High School, he attended Northwestern State University and graduated in 1943. Mr. Crump was a member of the 50 plus years at NSU. Later he served four years in the armed forces during World War II, receiving honorable discharges from both the U.S. Navy and U. S. Army. He returned to Louisiana to raise his family and was employed by Marathon Oil Company for thirty four years. He also was broker owner of Crump Realty. He was preceded in death by his wife, Novice fry Crump. He is survived by three sons, three daughters, sixteen grandchildren, two brothers and one sister.
