Clinton C. Crump, 54, well known Haynesville Farmer died Wednesday Aug 17, 1949 at the home of Henry Smith, about five miles northwest of Haynesville, He was stricken with a heart attack while at his farm near the Smith farm, but managed to go there in the search of aid, realizing that he was in serious condition. Mr. Crump had lived his entire life in this community and had operated farming land here for many years. He was well known and had a host of friends over a wide area. He is survived by his wife Lucy Phillips Crump, Children: Doris, Clarence, Joseph, Elsie Freddie, Marion and Peggy, two brothers and two sisters, and His step mother Mrs. F. J. Crump.
