A native of Sterns, Ky., Mrs. Marie Waters, 43, 4510 E. Hines, died Monday night in Ball Hospital.
She moved to Muncie in 1952 and was a member of the Westside United Baptist Church and the Order of Eastern Star 104.
Surviving are her husband, Simon; two sons, William Waters, Anderson, and Wilbur Waters, Muncie; five brothers, Paul, Kenneth and Austin Duncan, all of Muncie, Eldridge of Clarksville, and Sylvester of Cincinnati; three sisters, Mrs. Caroline Meadows and Mrs. Minnie Hicks, both of Cincinnati, and Mrs. Betty Lou Jones, Indianapolis; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Westside United Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Sewell and Rev. Ross Dobbs officiating. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Callers will be received at the Parson Mortuary after 1:30 p.m. Wednesday and at the church one hour before the services.
