On Nov. 7, 1953, he married Martha L. Duncan in Jellico, TN. Kenneth retired from Dayton Steel of Muncie as a maintenance worker after 22 years of employment. Kenneth was a member of the Westside Baptist Church in Muncie. He was also an avid nature lover as he tended to numerous trees and flowers at his residence. He also loved to socialize with his family.
Surviving relatives include his loving wife of 55 years, Martha of Muncie; sons, Jimmy Duncan, Kenneth Wayne Duncan (Patricia), Ricky Duncan (Claudia), Jeff Duncan (Renee), and Gregory Duncan; daughter, Kathy Arnett; sisters, Minnie Hicks and Carolyn Meadows; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; a favorite sister-in-law, Mildred Duncan; and special friend, Martha Qualkinbush.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; several brothers; and two sisters.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday at Garden View Funeral Home with Rev. James Bowman and Rev. William Watters officiating the service. Burial will follow in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
