Fayetteville, died Sunday in Lincoln
Regional Hospital after a long
illness.
The service was Monday at
Higgins Funeral Home. The Rev.
James Fee officiated and burial
was in the Lincoln Cemetery.
Daughter of the late Calvin and
Elizabeth McFerrin Dale, she was
a native of Lincoln County. Her
husband, J. N. McCown, died in
1966. She was a member of the
Associate Reformed Presbyterian
Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs.
Howard Hopkins of Fayetteville,
and Miss Doris McCown of
Washington, D. C.; a son James
E. McCown of Gettysburg, Pa.; a
granddaughter, Mrs. Dale Wine
of Washington, D. C.; a grandson,
Clint McCown of Beloit, Wisc.;
and two great-granddaughters.
