Mr. J. W. Dale, age 72, died at his home in New Market, Alabama, on September 17, 1955. He was a former Lincoln Countian, having been reared in the Molino community.

Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Prosperity ARP Church of which he was a member. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery. The Rev. Johnston and Rev. Meir of New Market officiated.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary Jobe Dale and four daughters, Mrs. Aline Armstrong, Lawrenceburg, Mrs. Ruth Benson, New Market, Mrs. Eunlee Cabiness, Gurley, Alabama, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Campbell, New Market; two sons, Knox Dale, Kent, Ohio, and J. W. Dale, Mansfield, Ohio; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Loma Dale, Fayetteville; two brothers, Herman Dale and Oscar Dale, both of Fayetteville; four sisters, Mrs. John L. Buchanan, Mrs. Anna McFerrin, Mrs. J. P. Gracey, and Mrs. Nolen McCown, all of Lincoln County.
