Born April 8, 1924 in Kusa, Oklahoma to Ben and Ethel Samples, the second of four daughters; Anita, Eva Lee, and Pat. Her parents, sisters and eldest son Lonnie preceded her in her journey. Irene married Bonnie Burl Carson May 6, 1939 in Walnut Grove. To this union 6 sons and 1 daughter, were born. Irene is survived by her husband, Bonnie of the home; son, Jim; daughter, Bonnie Lou and sons/daughters-in-law Jerry & LaRea, Bob and Judi, Roger & Anita and Scott & Stephanie. She had 20 grandchildren, 29 great, 3 great great with 3 new grandbabies on the way.
