Mrs. Ada (Robertson) Gadberry, 66, of Campbellsville, Route 4, daughter of the late Mr. James Robertson and Mrs. Patra Womack Robertson, was born in Kansas, Illinois, November 21, 1910.

She died at 9 a.m., Tuesday, June 7, 1977 at the Metzmeier Nursing Home in Campbellsville after an extended illness.

She had professed faith in Christ and was a member of the South Campbellsville Baptist Church. She had worked at the Metzmeier Nursing Home for some twelve years before her retirement in 1973.

She united in marriage to Mr. Arlin Gadberry, March 11, 1928. To this union two sons and two daughters were born. One son, Mr. J. D. Gadberry preceded her in death September 8, 1976.

Surviving are: Mrs. Judi Elam of Campbellsville, Mr. Larry Gadberry of Campbellsville, Route 4, and Mrs. Virginia Read of Frankfort, Ky. Besides her husband, Mr. Arlin Gadberry of Campbellsville, Route 4, and children, she is survived by thirteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; two brothers: Mr. Clem Robertson and Mr. Elbert Robertson, both of Russell Springs; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m., Thursday, June 9, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Chapel by Rev. Wayne Oldham and Rev. Monroe Robertson.

Burial was in Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers were James Bell, Richard Cable, Mac Gaskins, Ancil Reynolds, Ottis Wright, and Bobby Tomes.
