Larry Gadberry of Campbellsville, son of the late Arlin Gadberry and Ada Robertson Gadberry, was born December 27, 1941 in Decatur, Illinois. He died at 2:35 P.M., Monday, December 4, 2023 in Campbellsville. Age: 81

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Lowell Avenue Baptist Church.

Larry served his country honorably in the United States Army and was decorated with the Purple Heart award for his sacrifices in the Vietnam War.

He was a former co-owner with his wife, Margaret, of Lee's Famous Recipe in Greensburg for twenty two years. He was also a former employee at Fruit of the Loom for over twenty years, as well as Chapel's Dairy.

Larry was a stock car driver who enjoyed racing, as well as playing cornhole and horseshoe, fishing, and watching the Cincinnati Reds and Kentucky basketball.

He united in marriage to Margaret Newton February 20, 1970.

Besides his wife, Margaret Gadberry of Campbellsville, Larry is survived by one daughter and two sons: Hollie Westbrook and husband, Rob of Campbellsville; Van Gadberry and wife, Cabrina of Lebanon, and Cory Gadberry and wife, Jacki of Tennessee; eight grandchildren: Addie Westbrook Reece Westbrook, Haleigh Gadberry, Hannah Gadberry, Gwennie Gadberry, Analeigh Gadberry, Mason Gadberry, and Mekenzie Gadberry; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Larry was also preceded in death by one brother and two sisters: J.D. Gadberry, Virginia Reed, and Judy Elam.
