LINCOLN - Ellen N. Lindquist, 86, wife of the late Eric Lindquist, died July 7, 2004, in Lincoln. She was born May 6, 1918, in Howland, the daughter of William and Lydia (Berry) Veino. She worked for several years at Forster's Manufacturing in Mattawamkeag and was well known around the area for her decorative baskets and displays. She was a member of the Church of God, and spent many wonderful days enjoying her beloved outdoors, hunting and fishing in her special spots at East Branch and at Haymock, and in later years, enjoyed partridge hunting in the County and at Umcolcus.
She is survived by her four children, Pat and her husband Paul Miller of Kingman, Arizona, Donald Lindquist of El Monte, California, Dr. Vernon and his wife Judy Lindquist of Prince George, Virginia and Nancy and her husband Winfield Spencer of Howland; 15 grandchildren, Brian, Deborah, Wendy, Daniel, Christy, Barbie, Kevin, Melinda, Debbie, Shari, Eric, Monique, Michael, Esther and Richard; 22 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and one great great great grandchild; a very special friend, Larry Jewett and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, three infant daughters, two sons, Eric (her oldest son) and Neal, three grandchildren, Erica, Brian and Scotty, four brothers, Billy, Rupert, Marsdon and Joseph, five sisters, Celia Harris, Yvonne Crocker, Ruth Littlefield, Millicent Dugans and Gloria Ardine.
Friends may call from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Rd., Lincoln. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Mark York officiating. Interment will be in the Lincoln Cemetery.
