Ruth Lois was the eighth child of 12 known children and the fifth daughter of seven born to William John Sr. and Lydia (Berry) Veino.

She married George Thomas Littlefield on 4 August 1945 in Lincoln, Penobscot, Maine.

RUTH L. LITTLEFIELD

LINCOLN - Ruth L. Littlefield, 71, passed away May 11, 1996, at a Lincoln hospital. She was born in Howland, Oct 1, 1924, the daughter of William J. and Lydia C. (Berry) Veino. She was predeceased by her husband, George T. Littlefield, in December 1994. She is survived by two children and their spouses, Linda and Kenneth Blish of Carroll, Daniel and Danita Littlefield of Lee; four grandchildren, Tori Blish of Lincoln, Michael and Sonya Blish of Lee, Jeramie Littlefield of Lee; four great-grandchildren, Cierra Lynn Jessiman and Lindsey Scott of Lincoln, Chalon Blish of Lee and Nikki Briggs of Lee; three sisters, Ellen Lindquist of Lincoln, Millicent and Richard Dugans of Maxfield, Gloria and Victor Aedine of Winn. She was also predeceased by four brothers, Marsdon Veino, William Veino, Rupert Veino and Joseph Veino; and two sisters, Celia Harris and Yvonne Crocker. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Clay Funeral home in Lincoln. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Mark York and the Rev. Donald Littlefield officiating. Interment will be in Lincoln Cemetery.
