LINCOLN - Lydia C. Veino, 81, died Aug. 28, 1976 in a local hospital. She was born May 25, 1895 in Chester, daughter of John M. and Ida (Ireland) Berry. She was a member of the Church of God in Lincoln Center. She is survived by three sons, Marsdon, Rupert and Joseph, all of Lincoln; five daughters, Mrs. Ellen Lindquist of Lincoln, Mrs. Millient Dugan of Maxfield, Mrs. Ruth Littlefield and Mrs. Yvonne Crocker, both of Lincoln, and Mrs. Gloria Ardine of Winn; 33 grandchildren; 45 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild. Funeral services will be held from the Barton Funeral Home in Lincoln, Tuesday at 1 p.m. with burial in the Lincoln Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.. In lieu of flowers friends who wish may make contributions to the Lincoln Center Church of God Building Fund.

Lydia was the 5th of six children born to John Marshall and Ida Mae (Ireland) Berry. She was the mother of twelve children, two who died very young, two who predeceased her and eight who were surviving at the time of her death.
She was a gifted and loving wife of William John Veino Sr., the love of her life, whom she married in 1909. Lydia also extended her gifts and love to a very large family of siblings, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren,
her one precious great great grandchild, nieces and nephews. Her unselfish giving and caring extended into her community and her church.
