Mrs. Willie L. "Bill" Conley, 81, died Sept. 15 at St. Joseph's Hospital.

The Stilson native was a longtime resident of Savannah. She was a member of Savannah Baptist Center and the Golden Age Center of Savannah. She was the widow of Wallace Conley. She was a homemaker.

SURVIVORS: three sons, Richard Conley of Jefferson City, Mo., Nolan Conley of Midway and Steve Conley of Savannah; five daughters, Debra Ray of Daisy, Cecelia Harn Sales of Richmond Hill, Shelby Carter Surgener of Las Vegas, Jackie Stanfield of Savannah and Francis Cleland of Newington; two sisters, Betty Finley of Pembroke and Ann Simons of Guyton; three brothers, Allen Brown of Midway, and Nolan Brown and Eulas Brown, both of Statesboro; 34 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Massey Chapel. Burial will be in Lower Black Creek Church Cemetery.
