Pembroke-Mrs. Betty Jo Brown Findley age 81 passed away Wednesday February 20, 2013 at Kindred Rehab Center in Savannah while surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Findley was a longtime resident of Pembroke and had served over 7 years with the North Bryan Forestry Unit as an observer at the tower in Ellabell. She also worked at Claxton Manufacturing in Pembroke and was a member of Grace and Truth Church in Metter.

She is predeceased by her parents Nolan and Eula Cook Brown, four brothers, two sisters and a granddaughter.

She is survived by her husband of over 58 years W. B. Findley of Pembroke, sons and daughter-in-laws Lavon and Annette Findley of Ellabell and Billy Findley of Metter; daughters and son-in-law Amanda and Eddie Crews of Sylvania and Joann Roberts of Bloomingdale; sister Mary Ann Simons of Guyton, six grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and other family members.

Visitation will be 6-9 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 11 A.M. Saturday in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment will follow in Lower Black Creek Cemetery.
