"Dr Jason T Waid died at his home at Ridgeway, Elk county, Pa, at 1 o'clock Monday morning, of paralysis. Dr Waid was a native of Randolph township, and was about 50 years of age. After securing a common school and medical education he practiced several years at Spartansburg, leaving that place about twelve years ago and settling at Ridgeway. He was twice married, and the second wife and one child mourn the death of one of the best of husbands and fathers. The funeral services will be held at Spartansburg at 10 o'clock am Wednesday."
