Warner WAID was the son of Seth WAID and Rest (aka Aresta?) HATHAWAY. Seth was the son of Capt. Amos WADE and Phebe WILLIAMS which made him in turn the son of Ichabod WADE (b.1685) and Elizabeth COLE. He was a descendant of Anne (MARBURY) HUTCHINSON "The Champion of Civil Rights and Religious Freedom." Warner's father Seth is perported to be the one who changed the WADE spelling to WAID. Some have Warner's death location as Honeyoe Falls, Ontario Co, NY. Warner WAID's first wife he mard. in 1817 Centerville, Crawford Co, PA was Hannah SKINNER. Their children, all born Randolph Twp, Crawford Co, PA were: Williams WAID (b. 18 Apr 1818); Asahel WAID (b.1819); David Skinner WAID (b. 8 Jan 1821); Aresta (aka Aresty) Viola WAID (b. 25 Mar 1822); and Hannah Emma WAID (b. 25 Sep 1823, the same day as her mother's death). Warner WAID's second wife he mard. 18 Mar 1824 in Crawford Co, PA was Susan PATTEN.
