Sara Florence Thumma, 65, 536 N. Bedford St., died Wednesday in Carlisle Hospital.
She was born in Carlisle and was a former employee of F.W. Woolworth Store, was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and the Dr. Anna Kugler Sunday School class.
Surviving are her husband, Lester M. Thumma, Sr.; two sons, Lester M. Thumma, Jr., 302 S. Pitt St. and William E. Thumma, 4618 Oxford Road, Harrisburg; a daughter, Sally Self, Montross, Va.; a brother, George Diller, 901 Calvary Road; three sisters, Savilla Robinson, 118 N. Pitt St; Minnie Alexander, West Louther Street; and Dorothy Ludlum, Pine Bluff, Ark.; and three grandchildren.
Services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in St. Paul's Lutheran Church. The Rev. William L. Schmid and the Rev. Richard A. Ruff will officiate. Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call at the church parlor Saturday from noon to 1 p.m.
