Savilla D. Robinson, 89, a resident of the Sarah Todd Memorial Home, Carlisle, and formerly of One West Penn St. and 118 N. Pitt St., died Monday, July 12, 1999 at the home.

Born Jan. 10, 1910 in Carlisle, she was the daughter of the late Parker and Sadie Souder Diller and the widow of Levi E. Robinson.

A graduate of Carlisle High School and a retired employee of Kinney Shoe Co., Carlisle, she was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Carlisle. She was also well known for crocheting baby set ensembles.

Mrs. Robinson is survived by a daughter, Mary Jane Ruff of Shippensburg; a stepdaughter, Leonora Selders of Dillsburg; a brother, George P. Diller of Carlisle; two sisters, Minnie Alexander of Carlisle and Dorothy Ludlam of Pine Bluff, Ark.; two grandchildren; and one step-granddaughter.

Services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, 219 N. Hanover St., Carlisle, with the Rev. Dr. Marlin L. Snider officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Cemetery, North Middleton Township.
