EARNEST POE Earnest Lafaye Poe, a resident of Porterville, died here Saturday, Jan. 1 2005. He was 85. Private services will be held at a later date. Interment will be private. Mr Poe was a native of Wayland, Ark., and a resident of Porterville for 60 years.He is survived by two daughters, Edith Washington and Doris Johnson, both of Porterville; two sisters, Dorthy Anderson of Porterville and Johny Higgins of Bakersfield; 10 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
