Pasqual Garcia y Lugo was born at Mission San Antonio, Alta, California, Nueva Espana, where he was baptized April 10, 1784, the son of soldado Felipe Santiago Garcia and Petra Alcantara Lugo. Pascual died of fever at Monterey and was buried in Campo Santo San Carlos, December 24, 1841.
