Annie was born in Moline, IL. the youngest child of Harvey A. Cox and Catherine Beveridge Cox.
She retired from the Quad Cities Times Newspaper. She married Donald Lauber on 15 July 1950. She was preceded in death by all but one sibling. The surviving sister is Elsa Cox Hixson Tunberg who resides in Colorado. Annie is survived by one son, Sam. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and three children, Valerie, Donald and Thomas.
