John Boston Winn and Cora Jewel Jackson were married on 03 Nov 1923. John was 17 years old, and Cora Jewel was only 15 years old. They would have 5 children together between 1925 - 1934. Cora died in childbirth on the day the 5th child was born, Doris Jeanne Winn (Minchey), 23 Feb 1934.

Their first son, John Boston Winn, Jr. II, died on the day he was born, 10 May 1925, and is buried near his Mom at Eastview Cemetery, Wilbarger County, TX. The youngest daughter that Cora died giving birth to, Doris, recently died in 2011, and is also buried in Eastview Cemetery, Wilbarger County, TX, near her Mom and baby brother.

A second son, Douglas Ray Winn, died at 3 years of age, 15 Jan 1929 to 30 Nov 1932). The family was likely living in Jones County, TX, at the time, and we hope to locate his burial and link him to his family.

Two other children, James Clinton Winn (1926) and Nina Joanne Winn (1931), at still living.

John B. Winn married Ruby E. Rose, his second wife, in about 1940, in Taylor County, TX. She is buried beside John here at Elmwood Cemetery.
