Cora Helen Winn McBeath was the third child and daughter of Henry Clayton and Dora ElMarinda Bell Leming Winn. Cora was born in Indian Territory, Oklahoma, in 1902. Cora married Denzil McBeath on 12 Nov 1922. He was the son of James amd Rebecca Patterson McBeath, and he was born in Farmersville, Collin County, TX.
Cora and Denzil had three children, Kenneth (1926), Joyce (1933), and Helen Marie McBeath, who died at 2 and 1/2 years old. (22 Jul 1929 to 27 Jan 1932), in Taylor County, TX. She is buried here in the Hamby Cemetery near her parents.
Cora and her siblings remained very close until thir deaths. They continued to have regular family Reunions in Oklahoma and Texas, until their health no longer allowed them to attend. To this day, The Nix/Winn Family Reunions continue to be family tradition every two years. Many of the children and cousins come from all of the USA to attend the weekend event.
