Services were held at the Pentecostal Church in Pascola Tuesday afternoon for Harvey Ellsworth Eveland, 47, who died at his home there on Sunday, October 19. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery at Hayti.
Mr. Eveland was born in Pascola January 10, 1922, the son of George and Minnie Bell Eveland. He became affiliated with Pemiscot County Memorial Hospital soon after it was opened and worked there most of the time since.
He leaves two brothers, Porter and Walter Eveland both of St. Louis; and four sisters, Mrs. Mandie French of Gary, Ind., Mrs. Josie Moore of Hayti, Mrs. Leon Ferrell of Broseley and Mrs. Aritta Coram of pascola, with whom he made his home.
