Vanduser, April 13,--Mrs. Minnie May Killian, 60 years old, wife of Marion N. Killian, died of pneumonia and complications at 1:30 a.m. today following an illness of three weeks. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Bisplinghoff Funeral Home at Chaffee with the Rev. S.D. Aubuchon of Cape Girardeau in charge. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Beside her husband she is survived by six of 12 children, three daughters, Mrs. Bern Abernathy of Perryville, Mrs. Carl Penzel of Jackson and Miss Doshie Killian of Memphis, Tenn.; three sons, Paul Killian of Paragould, Ark, Carl Killian of Jackson and Hubert Killian of Vanduser; her mother, Mrs. Belinda Hahn of Patton; a sister, Mrs. George Seabaugh of Sparta, Ill.; a brother, O.J. Hahn of Patton; two stepsons, O.T. Killian of Detroit, Mich., and James Killian of Cardwell, 17 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
A son, Naval Cadet Floyd Joseph Killian was killed in an airplane crash while in training at the Consolidated School of Aviation at Cape Girardeau 19 months ago, and a daughter, Mrs. Oscar Emmons of Perryville died 16 days ago. The other four children died in infancy.
Mrs. Killian was born June 27, 1883 near Patton, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben F. Hahn. In 1904 she and Mr. Killian were married at Patton. They moved to a farm near there and later resided on a farm near Cape Girardeau. Seven years ago they moved to a farm near here where they resided since.
