Mrs. Mary L. Toy, 86, of Adrian, widow of Curtis Toy, died at 4:30 p.m. Sunday (April 10, 1966) in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, Kittanning. She was born Jan. 9, 1880 in East Franklin Township, a daughter of James and Margaret (Gibson) Hooks. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Adrian, the Missionary Society of St. Mark's and the Missionary Society of Montgomeryville Baptist Church. Surviving are six sons, Richard, George and Chester Toy, all of Adrian, Harry of Butler Road, Kittanning MR 10, Herbert of Kittanning and Waid of Columbia, S.C.; two daughters, Mrs. Glen (Frances) Black of East Brady Road, Kittanning MR 10 and Mrs. Richard (Adah) Butler of Las Vegas; 23 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Wilda Tenny of Akron, Mrs. Belle Wolfe of Kittanning and Mrs. Earl Toy of Adrian RD 1. TOY - Friends of Mrs. Mary L. Toy, 86 of Adrian who died Sunday (April 10, 1966), will be received at Snyder Funeral Home, Cowansville, from 7 to 9 this evening and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday (April 13) at St. Mark's Lutheran Church with her pastor, Rev. Lawrence R. Camberg officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Arrangements by Snyder, Cowansville.
