Carl Arthur Sanford, age 66, died at his home in Springville on September 11, 1994. He was born in Springville, August 27, 1928, a son of Frank J. and Flossie Painter Sanford. On October 7, 1965 her married Dixie Adams Johnson. He is survived by his wife and one son, Carl Barry Sanford, Provo, and two step-children, Lance Johnson and Collette Davis. One brother, Glen Sanford, Las Vegas; and five sisters: Lucile Heath, Lewiston; Ruth Brinton, Redwood City, California; Barbara Hatch, Lavern Larsen and Ina Bird, Springville. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Dee Sanford. Burial was September 21, 1994.
