LaClair, Edgar - Funeral services for Edgar LaClair, 75, were held Monday morning at St. Edmund's Church, Ellenburg. Mr. LaClair died at his home on Thursday, March 19, 1959, at Ellenburg Center after a long illness. He was born in Churubusco, son of the late Frank and Delia (Gonyea) LeClair He spent his life as a farmer. He is survived by his wife, the former Flora Lash, Ellenburg Center; two sons, Roy, Ellenburg Center, and Donald, Niagara Falls; five daughters: Mrs. Irene Trombly, Mrs. Francis Dumas, Mrs. Wilfred Charette, and Mrs. Francis Charette, Ellenburg Center, and Mrs. Leo Tourville, Niagara Falls. Also surviving are a brother, Peter, Ellenburg Center; and three sisters, Mrs. Ora Oakes, North Bangor, Mrs. David Daugherty, Chateaugay, and Mrs. Francis Newman, North Hampton, Mass. There are also 34 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren. Mr. LaClair was a communicant of St Edmund's Church. Chateaugay Record, March 26 ,1959
