Tessie William Mounts, 83, of the Fellowship Community near Dierks, died early Saturday March 30, 1963 at his home. He was a native of Indiana but had lived most of his life at Dierks. He was a (a logger in his youth) retired farmer and a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include four sons, George, Roy and Wilburn Mounts all of Dierks, and Dale Mounts of El Dorado. six daughters, Mrs. Archie Bearden, Mrs. Dan Weems, Mrs. Loy Cook, Mrs. Earl Golden, and Mrs. Johnsie Kesterson all of Dierks and Mrs Arlis Harris of De Queen, a Half-brother, Jim Hill of Dierks, a half-sister, Mrs. Melvin Johnston of Winne Woodm, Okla., 27 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Church of Christ in Dierks with Mr. Bob Coburn and Mr. Roger Turner officiating. Burial will be in the Burg cemetery under direction of the Latimer Funeral Home.
