Mr. T. W. "Wilburn" Mounts, age 77, a resident of Dierks, Arkansas, passed away on Sunday, July 7,2002 in Christus St. Micheal Health Care Center.He was born on August 19. 1924 to Tessie William and Estella Simmons Mounts in the Burg Community. He was in the timber industry, a member of the Dierks Church of Christ, a member of the Dierks V. F. W. and was the former mayor of Dierks for 12 years.Mr. Mounts is survived by his wife : Elberteen Pate Mounts ; four sons and daughter-in-laws : Terry and Linda Mounts of Dierks, Jerry and Debbie Mounts of Dierks, Donnie and Leca Mounts of Dierks and Ronnie and Becky Mounts of New Hope, Arkansas ; one brother : Roy Mounts of Dierks ; one sister ; Flora Harris of Daisy, Arkansas ; 10 Grandchildren and 7 Great-Grandchildren.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 10, 2002 in the Dierks Church of Christ with James McRae and Tommy Mounts, officiating. Burial will follow in the Dierks Cemetery.The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 9 from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. in the Wilkerson Funeral Chapel in Dierks, Arkansas.
