Mary L. Stout, 91, 25th Street Columbus, Indiana, died at 7:30 a.m. Saturday at Cottonwood Manor Nursing Home.
She was a retired attendant at Muscatatuck State Hospital in Jennings County and was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church.
Funeral will be conducted by Myers Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, with Father Robert K. Green officiating. Calling will be from 3 to 6 p.m. today at Reed and Jewell Chapel. A prayer service begins at 6 p.m. today. Pallbearers were Bill Compton, Henry and Bill Davis, Jeff Williams, James Hollingsworth and Arthur Davis Jr. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery. She is buried beside her daughter Alberta Davis.
Born August 8, 1890, at, Hayden, Jennings, Indiana, she was the daughter of Isaac and Mary (Bertram) Campfield. She married George Edwin Davis and Clarence Edward Stout. Both of whom preceded her in death. Her parents Isaac and Mary (Bertram) Campfield and a son Isaac William Davis and a sister Matilda Ferdale (Davis) Wilber also, preceded her in death.
Surviving are sons Henry Davis of North Vernon, Indiana; Arthur Davis of Columbus, Indiana; and Clarence Edward Stout of Indianapolis, Indiana; daughters, Matilda Grace Bertha (Davis) Hollingsworth of Indianapolis, Indiana;Mary Louise (Davis)Kuhlkin of New York; and Alberta Ferdale Davis of Columbus, Indiana; 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
