Orval Feifarek, Little son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Feifarek, is taken to former home for interment on Tuesday.
The funeral of Orval, the 11-year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Feifarek of Menominee, who met death by drowning on Saturday, was held Tuesday afternoon in Oconto, the body, accompanied by relatives and friends being taken there in the forenoon.
The casket was carried by George Kirt, Lawrence and Joseph Hranach, Menominee; Ernest Peshak, Lawrence Kinney and Fred Christiansen of Oconto.
The services were held in the Oconto Presbyterian Church, the Rev. F. A. Kuder of Menominee, officiating. Burial was made in Evergreen Cemetery, the bereaved parents having formerly resided in that city. Mrs. Feifarek is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Spice, pioneer residents of that city.
Many twin city people were in Oconto on Tuesday to attend the funeral. Besides the sorely bereaved parents there were Ruby, Robert and Lloyd Feifarek of Menominee; Mrs. George Trepanier, an aunt of the decendent, Mrs. Harry Gray, Mrs. John Scott, Mr. and Mrs. F. B. Feifarek and daughter Lillian of this city, Mrs. J. W. Boswell and Mrs. Adam Kirt of Menominee.
Other relatives present were, Mr. and Mrs. George Kinsinger, Niagara; Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Spice, Stiles; Delbert Spice of Lena; and J. Anderlie of Menominee.
Moving to Marinette.
The bereaved parents are removing to Marinette today, the sorrowing mother feeling unable to return to the home from which her son went forth to his untimely death. They will reside at 1013 Josephine Street. Until the house is in readiness, the family will stay with Mr. and Mrs. George Trepanier, Dunlap Avenue. Mrs. Trepanier and Mrs. Feifarek being sisters.
