Ruby E. Wade, age 90, formerly of Brookfield, passed away Dec. 14, 2003 at The Villages in Florida.
She was born in Marinette, Wis., a daughter of the late Joseph and Erna Fifrick.
On June 9, 1933, she was married to Donald Wade. The couple made their home in Milwaukee for a number of years, and then moved to Florida, where her husband was employed by the Schlitz Brewery.
Ruby was a lifetime member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter #277 in Wisconsin. She had also been a member of the Temple Terrace Presbyterian Church.
Ruby had been active in the Temple Terrace Women's golf association and a member of the Temple Terrace Garden Club and Friendship Club.
Her husband preceded her in death in 1990.
Survivors include one son, Robert (Debbie) Wade of Cumming, Ga.; one daughter, Sharon (W.L.) Loh of Bakersfield, Mo.; two grandchildren, Todd (Maureen) Wade and Kimberly Wade; and three great-grandchildren, Raleigh, Zoe and Keegan Wade.
She was also preceded in death by two grandchildren, Gary and Michael Loh; three brothers, Orval, Robert and Dr. Lloyd Fifrick and one sister, Eileen Fifrick.
Family committal services were held at the Greenbush Cemetery on May 11, under the direction of the Wittkopp Funeral Service, Plymouth.
