Irene Dale Nipp died Monday in Pulaski. She was a lifelong resident of Frankewing, until she moved to Ivy Crest eight years ago. She was a member of the Frankewing Methodist Church, worked at Genesco and ABP Apparel and was Post Master of the Frankewing Post Office and 93 years old.
Visitation will begin today at noon at Bennett-May - Giles County Funeral Home. Services will follow at 2pm and burial will be in the Frankewing Cemetery.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Nathan D. Nipp, parents David W. and Sarah Troxler Dale; sisters, Nannie Bell Haislip, Clara Cheatham, Hallie Mae Conwell, Mary Nona Adams, Iva Sue Davis; and brothers, Ike Dale and Coleman Dale.
Survivors include numerous nieces, nephews, friends and her Ivy Crest family.
