Oscar C. Workman, 413 Fourth street SW, a retired shoe repairman and a Cedar Rapids resident 25 years died Friday following a long illness. Born Dec. 7, 1890, at Hancock, he was married to Martha Pickering in 1913 at Center Point.
Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Jean Woods of Van Meier; two sons, Norman of Cedar Rapids, and Oscar, of Westminster, Calif.; three brothers: Lawrence, of Venice, Calif., Harry, of Long Beach, and Steve, of Cedar Falls; two sisters: Mrs. Irma Bush, of Glendale, Calif., and Mrs. Eva Neighbor, of Alburnett, and 12 grandchildren.
Services: Turner chapel at a time to be announced. Burial: Cedar Memorial. Friends may call at the chapel after Saturday.
