Bement-- Glenn M. Loomis, 93, of Bement died 12:05 a.m. Saturday (Jan. 19, 1985) in Piatt County Nursing Home, Monticello.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday in Bement United Methodist Church, with visitation after 10 a.m. in the church. Burial will be in Macon Cemetery. Roux Funeral Home, Bement, is in charge. Memorials: Bement United Methodist Church.
Mr. Loomis was born in Salem, son of Frank and Ida Loomis. He was a retired farmer, a member of Bement United Methodist Church and a life-member of ATA, Nokomis. He married Mary Renfro in 1915.
Surviving are his wife; son, Marion of Taylorville; foster son, Jimmy Stevens of Casper, Wyo.; daughters, Mrs. Roy (Frances) Neathery of Johnson Creek, Wis.; Mrs. Duane (Martha) Medaris of Bement; Mrs. Dean (Vena) Jones of Springfield; sister Marie Branch of Salem; 18 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren.
