Frank E. Young, 63, of Fairview Township, Chicora R.D. 2, died at his home at 11:55 p.m. yesterday, after an illness. Born in Butler County, he was the son of
John and Mary Leighlighter Young. He was a member of the Mater Dolorosa Roman Catholic Church. Chicora, the Holy Name Society of the Church, the United MineWorkers of American Local Union 7039. District 5. He was a retired coal miner.Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Anna Hockenberry Young; four sons. Edward Young of Butler RD. 2. James, Thomas and Roger Young, all at home; eight daughters. Ms. Carl (Gertrude) Landgraff of Butler R.D. 3, Mrs. Harry (Mary) O’Donnell of Chicora R.D. 3, Mrs. Joseph (Alice) Moore of Butler, Mrs. Ernest (Ruth) Kelly of Butler. Mrs. Jesse (Helen) Raabe of Butler, and Carolyn, Rose, and Genevieve Young, all at home; 14 grand children: two brothers, William Young Sr. of Chicora R.D. 2. and Joseph A. Young of Chicora; three sisters, Mrs. Mae Shuler of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., Mrs. Gertrude McClaine of East Brady, and Margaret Young of Butler, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Young- Friends of Frank E. young of Fairview Township, Chicora R.D. 2, who died Tuesday, March 20, 1962. Will be received at the Vensel Funeral Home, Chicora, from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
p.m. Thursday and Friday. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday from Mater Dolorosa Roman Catholic Church. Chicora with the Rev. John M. Biller,
pator, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery North Oakland.
Arrangements by Vensel. Rosary will be recited at 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral
home.
