Mike Dumler Dies
Michael Dumler, a resident of Russell since July 1878, died suddenly at his home Wednesday afternoon. He was 77 years of age. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Lutheran Church. Mr. Dumler was born November 26, 1858, at Bloomenfeld, Russia. He came to the United States and direct to Russell County in 1878. Besides his wife he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Dumler of Russell; and the following brothers and sisters; Fred Dumler, Sr., John Dumler, George Dumler, David Dumler, Jacob Dumler, Mrs. John Steinert, Christine Dumler, Mary Dumler and Katie Dumler.

Dies Suddenly
Mike Dumler, Sr., a long time resident of Russell, passed away quite suddenly Wednesday afternoon between the hour of three and four. Mr. Dumler had been having good health for a man of his age. Tuesday evening he suffered a heart attack from which he seemed to rally. He was up and around though not active. He died suddenly while sitting in his rocking chair.
Mr. Dumler was 78 years of age. He is survived by his aged wife, one daughter, Mrs. Fred J. Dumler.
Funeral arrangements are not definitely decided upon though the funeral will probably be held Sunday afternoon.
