Lois M. Brinton, 76, of Rough and Ready died Tuesday, March 2, at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Brinton was born July 14, 1927, in Kemmerer, Wyo., to Arthur Erickson and Ruby Rose. She retired from Pescolite in San Leandro. She is survived by her sons Michael Taylor, and Lonnie Taylor of Montgomery, Texas; daughters Kathy Westfall of Rough and Ready, Janice Ryan of Sacramento and Carol Kennedy of Fremont; stepson, Mike Brinton of San Bernardino; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tim Brinton; and granddaughter, Jennifer Taylor. Arrangements by Angels Mortuary.
